hmmm, sounds a bit exotic for me

it's common practice over here though to suspend orange/lemon peel shredding in a jelly-like matrix. it's called marmalade, and it goes well on toast in the mornings

I've seen that out here on the West coast as well. I don't know why someone would do that... other than just to be plain disturbing.

That said, carrot pudding sounds completely vile.

Carrot cake is superior. However, I do not know what carrot pudding entails and will reserve judgment pending further information. I will say this however, James, that Carrot Cake with Cream Cheese icing sounds positively orgasmic, I demand that you package some and send some to me on your next birthday!

for the carrot cake'ers - we got given a load of beetroot... I HATE beetroot, but it turns out you can make beetroot cake pretty much like carrot cake. It's just as great!

I baked two loafs of Banana bread just yesterday! They're both gone already Zucchini bread is really good too, pretty similar to banana bread interestingly enough...hm...ah, pumpkin is another vegetable used often in desserts.
