The Ex of the girl I am seeing and another one of his friends are constantly harassing her via text. Is there anything she can do about this (like blocking numbers)? She has Verizon and I know nothing about how they work.

She should consider getting a restraining order, or some other form of legal intervention. Normal adults don't do things like this, and it takes a pretty disturbed friend to join in as well. Quote:

The other thing is I would go to the carrier company and report her. Harassment is harassment and shouldn't be tolerated no matter what.

This is a serious situation man. My first thought as always is to retaliate...not always the best idea. I vote contact the phone company. Then if it gets worst...get the police involved. I would also document the text messages(somehow), and anything that the phone company does(ask for a letter I guess). That way if she ends up in court she will have real proof that this BS was going on.
Good luck to you two. I hope it doesn't go farther than texts.

In fact, screw my first idea, go with number 2. If you don't want to do it, send me the number via PM and I'll do it for you.
