Changing thread titles?

Didn't know where else to put this, so here it is.

I have noticed that you CAN edit a thread to change it's title, and I HAVE done it successfully, but why does it only work SOMETIMES?

Just today I closed 2 threads in the classifieds, and I think changing the title to say SOLD is great so that folks don't have to open the thread. Problem is, one I changed and it changed in the list of threads also, the other changed in the heading once you open the thread, but doesn't show up in the thread list of the forum.

So what's the deal?

You have a limited time where you can change the title in case of mistakes- I believe it's 24 hours after opening the thread or something like that.

Ahh, thank you. Now how do you delete threads that you have started?

You don't delete threads you have started.

If it really needs to be done, you should PM a mod.
