Charlie Sheen rushed to hospital

Quote:
Charlie Sheen was rushed to Cedar Sinai Hospital in Los Angeles early Thursday morning.

Stan Rosenfield, Sheen's publicist, told ABCNews that the actor "was having severe abdominal pains and went to the hospital." There was no immediate information on his condition.

TMZ.com reported that Sheen was taken out of his home on a stretcher and loaded into an ambulance at 7 a.m.

It is more bad news for the "Two and a Half Men Star," who has had to face questions about his career after what police described as an alcohol-fueled rampage at New York's famed Plaza Hotel last fall and highlypublicized marital problems with actress Denise Richards.

CBS Entertainment President Nina Tassler told TV critics in Los Angeles earlier this month that there is "a high level of concern. How could we not? This man is a father. He's got children. He has a family. So obviously, there's concern on a personal level. But you can't look at it simplistically. Charlie is professional. He comes to work. He does his job extremely well. It's very complicated."

"It's always a little weird because like the stuff you hear is just unbelievable," said "Men" co-star Jon Cryer to Conan O'Brien Wednesday. "I mean like ... I'm checking TMZ, as I do every day, to know if I have to go to work at all."

Incidentally, TMZ was the first to report that a 911 call was placed from Sheen's home at 6:35 a.m. this morning.

Appendix problems, most definitely!

That or a cocaine & booze fueled ulcer.

Either way, no one really cares.

A wannabe what? Rockstar? Actor? Human? Dog turd? Thats the one!

But I find it more appalling that people are that concerned over the going ons of any particular 'celebrity'.

+1

I wish him luck on getting better. However, I really don't care that he was sent to the hospital nor that he is sick. This kind of thing happens everyday.

Somehow, I have the feeling he's going to end up dead or nearly dead, and a lot of the people around him are going to say, "We tried to warn him! We saw it coming, but we couldn't get him to stop!" *Sigh* Shame.

They played on the radio this morning, an interview with a porn star that Sheen had been partying with. He was on a 36 hour cocaine (crack) and alcohol fueled binge, apparently. I knew I was right. Charlie Sheen will die soon if he doesnt fix his head.

i dunno,he seems to be doing fine.....simply because a guy doesn't settle into some kind of middle aged nightmare of monogamy and boredom doesn't make him any more likely to meet a bad end.....he has a few issues, who doesn't,but he's well able to make it all work....

i know tons of guys that lived that way,but without the careers, personal trainers, private rehab clinics, and millions of bucks.....they are starting to go now, mostly in their late fifties and early sixties, but i think sheen will reel it all in before long....if i had known how incredibly mundane married life would be i'd have never jumped.....besides it's not the dope that gets you as much as the unhealthy life that most junkies lead because of dope...

You would have thought that by now he would have hired a trama team to follow him around.

Who cares? I lump him with all the other people who are constantly in the news that I'm simply tired of hearing about - the Kardashian sisters, LeBron James (a prime time show to announce who he wants to play for?!?! What a freakin' ego!!!), C.O. and T.O., Brett Favre, ANYONE who ever appeared on a reality show for ANY reason at all, ....

Is he sick? Yep. Is it sad? Yep, he has family he's probably torturing by making them watch him kill himself. But should I feel sorry for him? Not a chance. He's going out the way he wants to. Just let him do it OUTSIDE the news and off camera. I don't care.
