The Chase was quite an awesome movie when I was a kid. Seems like he's been on a downward spiral ever since...

Meh. Charlie Sheen on a coke binge with a hooker isn't news any more.

LOL, makes the show Two and a half Men seem like a reality show, eh?

He sure seems like a dope. As for his career, other than Platoon and Wall Street, I can't think of anything he's starred in that I've liked. (I almost said Repo Man, but that was Emilio.)

Edit: Oh sweet fancy Moses, Two and a Half Men has been on the air for seven years. What is wrong with people?

If I was on two and a half men for seven years, I'd have a coke problem too.

According to IMDB, Charlie has landed multiple acting gigs every year since he started in 1984, with the odd exception of 1995. He's the highest paid actor on TV right now, with the highest-rated sitcom.
He's had multiple run-ins with the law, any of which could've ended his career, yet he's still right there on top.
I wouldn't call that a downward spiral or dopey.

You gotta be kiddin me

I sat through 15 minutes of two and a half men. 15 minutes that probably aged me about an hour. That's the highest rated sitcom?

Well, ya know....yeah, I guess that does make sense.

A downward spiral as in he hasnt done anything decent/worth watching since doing the Chase, which I think was in 94.

I thought I was reliving Groundhog Day '87.

The PR line is "adverse reaction to medication". Any real news(other than TMZ) confirm the positive hit on Booger Sugar?

Doesn't matter but it's a shame.

God Bless, Ray

I totally agree that he hasn't done anything worth a damn in a while, I was just pointing out that as long as america keeps tuning into his show and buying tickets to his movies, he'll never stop doing the stuff for which he's so notorious.

Well, one could look at Joan Rivers as living proof. See, old people eat this stuff up!

Lets get one thing straight, aside from The Arrival in 96 I believe, he hasnt appeared in any movie one could call 'his'. He's been making his living off little cameos, his stint on Spin City as Michael J Fox's subpar replacement, and Two & a Half men. Utter dreck. All that said, I couldnt care less what Charlie Sheen is doing with his money or time. In fact, I find his debacles like this to be far more entertaining than anything he has 'acted' in in the last 15 years. Perhaps that's why people keep watching him...

I would consider the Hot Shots! movies to be his. Platoon, too.

Of course, as I was referring to his career since "The Chase".

I'm just sayin', he's had a long and successful career despite his very public downfalls.
