Che Guevara on guitar?

I've been looking for a design for my flying v guitar, what about making it a Che Guitara? The shirts are cliche, but this is on a guitar! Thoughts?

make a really offensive nazi symbolism guitar.

have hitler and ss symbols and swastikas. it will be an "instrument of hate"

or you could just you know ignore the whole this is my hero on a guitar and put something tasteful or artistic.

Maybe some bass heroes??

Philosophers/Anarchist/Song writers/Painters/writers?

Plenty to chose from.

My mom chose Xanthippe, Socrates' nagging argumentative wife.

Regards,
Tom Barr

...I think Che would be disappointed to see his face on a guitar.

Che is a big figure in communism, my government style of choice. However the truth is he contributed to the death, torture, and complete imprisonment of many people, and in my opinion should not be idolized. What about painting a nice, beard-y Carl Marx on your guitar? .... or maybe Groucho (ah, to reference comedy way before my time...)

+1.

Not to mention offensive to some folks who fled Castro and the regime.

But mostly it's just trite. Look at it as your chance to find something new and unique.

Okay, Che is obviously an awful idea, good thing I asked the level headed TBers before I did anything drastic! But I want to pay homeage to someone, and what better way than slap their face everytime I play guitar? That, and I suck at art, so I have to stencil something as opposed to paint/draw it

I had put Eddie (Iron Maiden`s mascot) on my Sage P bass for fun and as a small tribute to Steve Harris for being one of my original bass influences. I`ve since gotten rid of it, but it was cool. Maybe that`ll give you some ideas.

Howz about none of the above and just you start to play good enough to become someone else's hero?!?!?

This idea is as bad as the Epiphone Bob Marley Les Paul.

Does anyone remember the thread on the RASTA BASS here? That was pretty funny.
