Cheap Beers

Sign in to disble this ad
I need a list of good cheap beer that is easy to drink and tastes the least horrible. I turn 21 in 20 days, so i figure it's good to plan now. I also want to drink cheap beer now so that way I can quickly move on to appreciate better brew.
and, please, nothing with the words "natural" and "light" right next to each other.

Try budweiser. After that you can only go up.

Yuengling tastes great and is cheaper than domestics like Bud Light (here in Alabama). Quite honestly my beer of choice.

I disagree...the Yuengling you guys get down south (brewed in Florida) is awful. The stuff brewed with the coal-filled water of Pottsville, PA is amazing. Treat yourself to a northern Yuengling or don't bother.

My last semester of college, my housemates and I discovered Classic Light. Made by Milwaukee Premium Brewing Company and tastes a lot better than the Beast. About $11 for a 30 in these parts.

Well, I get Northern Yuengling, so that's not a problem.

Classic Light, you say? Sorta like Keystone?

Life is too short to drink cheap beer. And anything with "light" in the name isn't beer, either.

Unfortunately you can't get my favorite cheapie beers which are Oly and Rainer. They taste like mule piss for sure but they kick the crap out of Buttwiper and MGD products. Do they have Kokanee out your way?

A local bar sells $1 PBR's on Saturdays.
It's a pretty big hit!

I've had Yuengling up north and down south and it's tasted exactly the same. The stuff I buy is brewed in PA.

Don't bother with cheap beer. Buy something that's worth drinking, and enjoy it.
