This is what I happen to be rolling in:
and a shot of me rolling up to acceleration:
These are from FSAE Michigan at MIS last month. Finished 32nd with a 3rd place in economy.

-Mike | For competition purposes, you're a serious threat to acceleration
While I was not a driver, my friend is behind the electronic that took part in earning our Université Laval's ride 17th position.

Not my ride but it was cool sitting on it. A swift from Dellapenna Motorsports, late 90's CART (damn I miss it )
Sorry for the big picture.

Honda CRF 450x that we had to run carbureted with an auxiliary fuel injector due to failing to get it to start reliably on just EFI. Its the first car we've done with the single, and the second year on the car as well. I'm looking forward to building our next car, which should be starting shortly.
As far as the ground clearance, looks can be deceiving. The nose on the car is just high because of the suspension design. The lower control arms come to the center of the chassis rather than the outside of it (don't ask me the reason though, I'm an engine guy ). In reality, it just barely passed tech this year because the battery and fuel tank are mounted at the lowest point of the car near the base of the main roll hoop. Quote:

| In theory you should be able to, but it might be a little tight. The car is supposed to fit the 95th percentile male (i'd have to check the rules to figure out what exactly that means).
But for reference I'm the one sitting in the car with no helmet on and I'm 6'1" and 215. And I put down our fastest acceleration time
