So I'm heading up to Chicago in a couple weeks for 5 days. Tell me TB, what do I need to do/see there?

I can't recommend visiting Lakland enough, those guys are the coolest. Just be sure to set up a time with them. Also, Portillo's is an excellent place to get Chicago dogs--yet it has a big menu if you're with people who want something else.
Side note: Ft. Lauderdale and Gainesville are the only places I've lived in longer than Chicago (almost 7 years here). I work downtown, so if you're up for food and/or beer, let me know and maybe we can figure out a time.

I'll let you know if that changes.
