WHen you were a child, did you have a favorite cartoon character or muppet or something similar that you looked up to or just plain liked, that you still really like? If so, who and why?

For me: it's Cookie Monster. he was my favorite, growing up. The reason? I love his philosophy on life..."C is for cookie and that's good enough for me." This tells me that he's a man/creature/thing of simple tastes. No aires on this guy. He's a regular guy, a working-class stiff like the rest of us. I still watch old cookie monster clips on youtube. That guy is allright in my book.

I was a big fan of Thomas The Tank Engine. My brother and I used to own a bunch of the trains.

I'm sorry to be the one to break this to you, but Cookie Monster IS A FRAUD. Watch some of his S. Street stuff in slo-mo and you'll see that he's not actually eating those cookies.
He might as well be lip synching or playing an instrument that's not even plugged in
