So I and my colleagues were doing the old reminiscing about our fav superheroes and cartoons. It got me to thinking, I know in the U.S. we have ppl like Batman, Superman, Green Lantern, etc but what about ppl in other countries? What are superheroes or cartoon characters that are popular or prominent in your growing up?

other ones were rugrats, angry beavers, hey arnold, yu gi oh, pokemon, rockos modern life, kenan and kel, and wow so many more..
the movie that defined my childhood was toy story, i watched it again 15 years later and i still laughed!

Most of them were on re-runs though.

I remember when I was a kid I'd read all his adventure books, which were hard-cover comics. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Adventures_of_Tintin
