Choke (the movie based off the book) Spoiler content!

Grrrr.....I can't believe they left out the part about the monkey and the chestnuts...and the doctor is just a nerdy chick who had a nervous breakdown instead of a certifiable crazy that thinks she's from the future, and victor doesn't crap his pants on TV. They really moved the beginning quite fast too.

Anyone else read the book and seen the movie? Discuss.

I thought the movie was pretty good compared to the book. I don't even remember the scenes you're talking about.

I read Choke so long ago that I don't remember anything about a monkey or chestnuts.

I did, however, like the movie. Sam Rockwell was awesome as usual.
