You could have taken that whole "opinion to yourself" thing one step further and not posted at all. Everyone will catch what you're implying, right? Good riddance to a bad guy, right?
Aside from speaking ill of the dead, you may not have stayed current on the Chris Henry story. After a very checkered career, he had, by all accounts, got his act together. He had publicly given much credit to his fiancee for his turn-around.
Either way, a very tragic story. Or maybe that's what you meant, eh?

He was chased by demons but in maturing seemed on the verge of delegating them to his past. I hope that he has found peace now...

Ive known better men who have been killed that deserve more recognition by the American public than some scumbag football player. But alas, that is the way of todays society.
Like I said, I was going to keep my opinion to mself, but oh well, you forced me into it

As fo shizzle said, if you truly did not want to say anything, you did not have to post on this thread at all. Clearly, you felt a need to express your contempt, so you did it. If there is a next time either say what you mean or move on to another post, claiming somebody made you say it looks weak, IMO.

It will be a while before we really know anything other than the fact that Chris Henry died a strange and sad death. |

They knew immediately that he would probably not make it so I wouldn't think that would change. My undestanding is that he fell while trying to get on the moving truck. If this is the case you really can't blame his gf. We'll see.

If he was any other person, none of you would care and would probably be along the same thought process as me. The guy drove around drunk, gave underage girls alcohol, did drugs, and assaulted people. Seems to me like just another low life criminal, but because he played n the NFL, its all "hero worship this and RIP that." Im not a religious man by any means, so when I hear about people like this passing, all I can think to myself is good riddance. |
