This was the first year where my son, wife, and I acknowledged the Santa Claus reality. My son hinted he knew what was going on for the last two years but also didn't seem to want to let go. This year was different.
In some ways it was nice to not have to continue with it but on the other hand my wife and I were pretty sad to see it end. It's really cool to see a kid enjoying that kind of magic.
Anyway, she's a cutie. I hope you savor every moment with her!

bc | Yeah, I think most photogs feel it looks tacky enough that most good people will pay for the photos instead of just stealing their time/work.

She wants to be a drummer more than anything in the world. I took her to Guitar Center and I couldn't get her to leave the drum area. She asked me when we left if we could go back soon. Inevitably, she got 2 "drumsets" for Christmas. One from me, that was a little version of a regular set and a digital one from her soon-to-be mother in law. My last band practice she had to play along. So cute!
I have about 300 more pictures from Christmas. Lol.

Our son went through a musician phase when he was 11-12. Nothing came of it, but I think he had fun trying.
