My mom and I are stumped. Christmas is right around the corner, and we can't figure out what to get him.
I got a new coffee maker for the house, and my brother got him a bottle of scotch. He's not into much else, what's a good gift for a guy who doesn't need anything?

Does he drink beer? Maybe buy him a homebrew kit and a couple batches.
Does he like movies? Does he have a bluray player?
Does he like sports? Does he have a decent TV to watch them on?
If he likes either of those and has both of those, how about a big comfy chair for him?
A new belt. Everyone always needs a new, quality belt.
etc.

Obsessions: None. Well, watching Law & Order ridiculously loud. That's about it.
Favorite movie stars: He thinks they all suck.
Tools: He's already got me. Oh, those tools... he's got everything he needs. If not, he borrows mine.

etc. | We contemplated the homebrew kit, but my mom is concerned with the odor.
Not too big into movies, despises sports, and we've got a great setup. We have no room for a chair.

Or a Thomas the Tank Engine (or what it's called in English) DVD collection. Or the book "Paths of Glory" by Jeffrey Archer. Or a hipflask. Or lots of bacon, like really, really much. Or House MD seasons 1 to 5. Or the complete short stories of Ernest Hemingway. Or TAG-HEUER. Or some assless chaps for his Harley riding.
That is mostly what I want for christmas though, with two exceptions. I don't know how that'd help when I think again, but still! |

Smaller gifts could include: cologne, aftershave, electric shaver, beard/nose trimmer, electric toothbrush, tool set.
Small things that you can't go wrong with. |

I'll bet if you buy him a gift certificate at a harley store, he'll find something to do with it.
