I've been watching this movie for over 25 years, and it still cracks me up every time I watch it.
The F-dash-dash-dash word!

We finally went and bought it on DVD this year, but the only way we found it for sale was in a three dvd pack with happy feet and the polar express. We still haven't watched the other two.
BTW, read the book, In God we trust, all other pay cash". It's an excellent read, and a great insight on 1940's and 50's midwest living. |

I hold him forever personally responsible for having to use a radio for a nightlight. I would listen to his stories on WOR NY and laugh myself to sleep. He was quite the talker. The story about going to the Indy 500 for the first time (in the book "The Ferrarri in the Bedroom) is one of my favorites.
If you like the movie, you will love his writings. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jean_Shepherd |

-Mike | Where's Flick? Has anyone seen Flick?
