Circuit bending?

Sign in to disble this ad
My good friend is graduating HS soon and is going to college as an electrical engineering major. He's also probably gonna be messing around in my electronic side project. He's been getting really into circuit bending.

I wanna get him something to do it with as a gift... but it seems the circuit bending trend has driven the prices of Casiotones and Speak and Spells to quite a bit what they used to be worth.

Do people know some other cheap keyboards or electronic toys that people like to circuit bend? What electronic components should I get him to use with it? Where can I buy the materials for that?

Thanks guys...

Haha I met one person.
He wanted to get two keytars and a bunch of See and Says.

Remember those?
