City of Windsor Homicide free for 2 years!

Hey TBOT

It has now officially been 2 years since the last murder that had occured in my city of residence, Windsor Ontario. There's plenty bad about this place, and people - myself included - tend to talk plenty of trash about it. The unemployment rates are highest in the country, the arts are struggling, and the music scene is also struggling. But this has helped remind me that it really isn't all that bad in Windsor - our prices on a lot of commodities are lower than prettymuch the rest of Canada, the people are usually pretty nice, and now we've been murder free for two years!

Some may say it's "boring" around here, but if that translates to "safe" I'd rather be boring any day!

Hmm, I guess I can no longer say "Windsor, Canada's Detroit". All joking aside, that is quite impressive for a city the size of Windsor.

That's just because they dump the bodies in the river and they float on over to our side where we just shrug our shoulders, say "Well, it's Detroit, it must be ours"

If only Edmonton could be able to boast such a feat. Our first homicide of 2011 occurred on January 1st...Just three hours after ringing in the new year. Apparently we're at the top for murder rates in Canada. Go Edmonton! The Canadian Detroit!

It's mostly gang violence, though...

Wait until the next auto workers dispute...LMAO

All kidding aside, Windsor is a great town, as are many towns in Ontario such as London and even some parts of T.O. Even St. Catherines and Burlington used to be decent, but havent been there in awhile, and I heard Oakville has gone down some.

Good for the other side of the bridge.
