Wow. No love for Clarence.... crazy.

Wonder how many replies I would have had if this was about Mark Hoppus.

I'm not really a fan of Bruce Springsteen, so I'm not familiar with this player. But I hope he pulls through just the same.

Like Maki, I don't much care for The Boss.

But Big Clarence is a hell of a sax player and always fun to watch. I hope he makes a full recovery.

Oh dude!

I'm not a fan of Springsteen, and I was only introduced to Clemons a few months back on the Daily Show. I was impressed with what little I saw of him.

Hopes and prayers for the best

GET WELL, BIG MAN!

Springsteen's not my thing to be honest but without Clemons, I'm not sure that the music would be the same.

Awww man. I'm a fan of the stuff prior to Born in the USA, and the Big Man is an essential part of that work. I saw Springsteen in '81 (yes, I'm old) and it was one of the best shows I've ever seen (and I don't usually go to arena-size rock shows). Clemons was awesome that night, too. Get well, sir! Thoughts and prayers coming your way.

It seems we lost the Big Man today. Rest in peace Clarence, Heaven just got the best sax player to sweeten up the place.

I'm super bummed.

RIP, Mr.Clemons. The man was a beloved figure, and for good reason.

Huffpo has a statement from Springsteen and a collection of great live solos of his.

I'd like to have heard that combination. Clarence made me want to have a tenor sax in my band for a while back in the day.

RIP Big Man.

I saw a brief tribute to Clarence Clemons. Makes me regret never going to see the E Street band, now

RIP
