A friggin' car commercial by the singers of American Idol. Should I Stay or Should I Go. I say go and go real fast off a cliff. |

I actually feel bad for the contestants that are forced to put on a smile for the crap that they're made to do. That said, the Ford commercial really crossed the line. And here I thought nothing could surpass Jim Carrey bitching it up with Seacrest in an elephant outfit... |

These are american idol douchebags, not the freaking beatles. The more crappy cheese-fest things they have to go through, the better.

I hate the idiots who try out and then cry when the English one berates them. I hate the people who stop whatever they are doing and tune in to watch it and then discuss it every ******* day until the new one arrives. And furthermore, I hate the rejects that the show produces who expect to be taken seriously in the music world. You know who I'm talking about...the ones who aren't picked to be the grand idiot of the night. But they came in second place. Then you start seeing those people popping up everywhere because some douche bag producer watched the show and wants to take that person on...you know who I'm talking about.
My ex wife tried out for that show. She was told that she had a nice voice but she just wasn't what they were looking for. After her tryout, she watched it every time it was on.

It can be summed up like this: Be careful what you wish for when wanting to be a commercial success. The marketing weenie types will make a fool out of you. |

4 night of the Beatles, 2 performance shows and 2 elimination shows ,most of it was pretty awful but it gives the Beatles exposure to kids that never heard of the Beatles before. |

And I think the bassist overplays constantly.

AAAARRRGHHHHH!!! How can they not *SEE* that Idol is taking music and turning it into babyfood? Why don't they care?
Why can't they see the evil?
Some idiot will tell me, in the next few days, "Oh, you love The Clash, don't you? Have you seen the commercial the Idol contestants made? Isn't it just great?"
And then they'll look like this:
And I will have to hit them. I mean...I'm gonna HAVE TO!!!
American Idol...Yet Another Sign Indicating The End Of Days.

At home! That's where my kids have heard it all of their lives!
And, occasionally, some brave DJ will play it on regular radio. AMAZING!!!
It also pops up on cable digital music channels.
What happens to people, that they stop playing and listening to good music, and start playing and listening to Kenny G? Is that why kids don't hear good music...because their parents stop playing it?
I can't imagine doing that to my kids...but I know there are parents out there who forbid all rock music. Sickos.
Kids DO NOT need Idol contestants and the Ford Motor Company introducing them to this song.
Its up to parents! Play good music, often, where your kids can hear it!
ITS FOR THE CHILDREN!
But seriously...
