Claypool, coolest ever? I think so...

This weekend Les is hosting a Wine and Sauerkraut party in his wineries tasting room (which is a hollowed out train caboose with a bar in it) in my home town. He hired a Polish accordion player to play the soundtrack to the party and is encouraging everyone to dress in traditional Polish attire.

Coolest ever? I think so...

He definitely has fun. Also confuses me any time I make an effort to understand his playing.

And yet historians of future generations will probably remember Les as "the guy who played the South Park theme."

That sounds like a very cool wine-tasting theme.

Should be just dandy! If I can pull it off without looking too much like a fanboy, I may ask him to sign my bass, he's a pretty nice guy, I bet he'll do it

Unfortunately I had too much going on beforehand to really track anything down that would have been appropriate. Which turned out to be fine, really just the winery employees wore the garb.

Glad you had a good time, but "Lame City", man. Really, wine tasting? Thankfully, I've never heard of the guy, and hopefully I never will. I'm guessing he's a metal head? No Rock & Roller would invite people to a wine and sauerkraut tasting.

To each their own as they say. Those are 3 things I don't like - wine, sauerkraut, and accordian polka music.

I seen him on a Outdoor Fishing show. Seems like he would be a blast to hangout with. Funny and odd without being too weird or too far out there.
