Clearing my Search History

Sign in to disble this ad
I need help clearing out my search history. I know how to clear the history of web sites I've visited, but sometimes when I start typing in a search window, it shows me the history of my searches from a certain...less appropriate..web site...if you know what I mean

Is there anyway to clear that out?

What browser are you using?

In any case, you probably want to clear your cache and your cookies, I believe, as well as your browsing history.

At least that's what I do... er, am told to do.

Unclick "remember search and form history." Repeat clearing process.

The new Firefox 3.5 has private (or pervert) browsing, which allows you to browse anything and it won't keep any records of what websites you went to or save any cookies at all. Just for future reference.

I guess you never looked at the top of your screen eh? There's a tab that says History, my guess is that it isn't about Victorian times

Click "Tools" up on top and then figure it out. There should be a "clear ______" on the drop-down. [I don't know what version of FF you are using.]

Carry a copy of Firefox Portable on a thumb drive...assuming this is because you want to browse all this bass pr0n without your other basses knowing about it...
