How much coffee do you drink on an average day? (cups, mugs, gallons, bath tubs) Just coffee or something more special like espresso, cappuccino or tubruk?

I drink one 10oz or so espresso in the morning when I walk the dog, and maybe 5 more cups of coffee at work. When the weather is cool, I usually do a couple mugs of Yerba Mate in the afternoon.

On the weekends, I make a 10 cup pot, but rarely finish it.

Currently, none. As the semester keeps going I get up to 4-5 cups easily.

I've been trying hard not to drink coffee and to rely on getting enough sleep and will-power, but once I get a whiff of some good coffee it is hard to avoid the urge.

Tea is a good replacement.

Since 1990 I've cycled from 2 cups to 2 pots per day. I'd cut back, then have a bad month of LOTS of coffee, cut back, bad month, cut back....

The past three years tho I try to have no more than 2 cups per day...I had toooo many friends with kidney stones.

As a rule about 4 to 6 cups a day, but never after 6PM. If I do have a coffee after 6 it has to be decaf.

One home brewed double latte a day, cut down recently from two. Looking to get to one single shot a day soon.

I generally have 2x 16oz cups of home brewed coffee OR a 24oz cup from Dunkin Donuts, Wawa, 7-11, Quick Check or Cumberland Farms (in that order of preference). Occasionally I have another 16oz cup in the afternoon/evening.

I think that I generally get enough sleep so that I don't need to rely on coffee. I'll just drink a cup in the morning as part of my breakfast. And I really just stick to one a day, because I don't want to rely on the caffeine to function. But I'm still young, so I can say that.

sure there are days I need a cup, but I drink it because I love it. When I was younger, I drank it all day every day... today I try to skip it for 2 or 3 days every couple months just to prove I don't need it.

About 4-5 double shots of espresso from my own machine per day.

More if I've been lacking sleep, or just feel like the rich, creamy taste of a well-pulled shot of espresso.

8 to 20 cups depending upon my workload. I have few vices, so I'm quite ok with the amount =)

Seven cups a day, because that's how many would fit into the biggest mug I could find. I do black Folgers Classic and stir in two packets of Swiss Miss hot chocolate. Instant ghettochino.

1 to 3 cups or regular coffee in the morning with a bit of evaporated milk. Usually none after that. Sometimes decaf in the evening but usually when going out to dinner or a special occasion.

During the work week I need my two cup kick start when I get up. Then I make a thermos of coffee for work. On the weekends I drink about 3 to 4 cups a day.
