I got a coffee mug from my steel vendor. He came by and gave us hats and staplers and sweat-sponge bandanas for summertime and clocks and calendars... but my fave is this funky coffee mug. Very simple, but the design rules! The bottom is flared out and large to hold more than a standard mug's worth of coffee, and the top has a very narrow diameter. It kinda works like a wine glass to keep coffee from sloshing out as you carry it. I haven't spilled this thing yet while carrying it back to my desk. So awesome.
It shames my Symphony X mug and my SS "F-ing METAL" mug my buddy made for me. Function over form, baby!
Tell us about your favorite coffee mug. |

I saw it one night in the store at 2am. I'd walked in after a gig, sorely in need of coffee. Said "That's mine!" and it has been for almost 4 years.

Possibly one of the most thoughtful and useful gifts I've ever received and I treasured it. It was pretty large, and could hold a good amount of soup or iced green tea. Unfortunately I dropped it one day and shattered into pieces. To this day, I still miss that mug. |

ski-doo travel mug... top fits really nicely with rubber so it doesn't leak, and even though it doesn't close the holes on the top it doesn't leak when sloshed
and my favorite regular mug is one i have from the airport marriott in orlando... got itfrom out room on the band trip last new years eve... lol... my buddy has the serving tray, another mug, and all 4 drinking glasses from the room... we almost had one of the pillows (AKA tampon 9000... long story... just the shape of it) but we took that out of the pillow case for a last minute pillow fight and forgot to put it back in, and we almost had the CFL bulbs out of one of the lamps, but me decided to put those back... and the TV is bolted down in the room... would've had that if not for that fact lol... but the mug is great, just plain black, but the story and memories are worth it

Or you like to drink more coffee than those eurotrash pansies.

But, if holding a large cup of slightly coffee flavoured milk makes you feel like a man.....
