Cold Bacon?

Sign in to disble this ad
Hey guys! I have a question for the bacon connoisseurs. Does anyone enjoy cold bacon? I went out for breakfast with the family yesterday and my sister didn't finish her food so she brought some home. I got hungry and opened up the takeout box, and low and behold, there's some bacon. I was feeling adventurous and ate the bacon cold. MY GOD MAN, IT WAS WONDERFUL!

Does anyone else like cold bacon?

You guys are out of control with this bacon admiration.

How many of you have bacon air fresheners in your car?

I'd like to point out it's "connaisseur". Connoisseur is a common misconception.

As for me, I like my bacon crunchy. So if you mean cold in the way that it's never seen a pan, no.

Cold "cooked" bacon goes well on sandwiches. Or by itself.

Meatless club sandwich? That reminds me very little of a short story I'll have to tell you someday when I have less time.

What ??? Do your BLT's show up with the bacon still sizzlin' ?

Cold bacon is GREAT !!! It is, after all, BACON !!!!

A note to all with access to Sheetz convenience stores.

Go to the terminal, order a BLT. Tap "Double Meat", then tap "Add Bacon". You get a BLT that is truly a Fist-Full-O-Bacon!

Costs about 6 bucks ... gotta love it.

a bit redundant, but here is my list:

salad
club sandwich
mashed potatoes (fake stuff not allowed in my home)

also, cold bacon on cold pizza works for me.

or, just straight cold bacon.

i have not thus far participated in any of the numerous tb bacon threads, but there is no shame in cold bacon. if i had a ladder i would shout it from the rooftop.

i feel like some iron chef must have made bacon ice cream by now.

Uncured, thick-sliced bacon on a spinach salad with avocado, green onions, 2 hardboiled eggs, a tomato, and green peppers (or red) is SUPER. If it is ~a half pound, that is a good amount.

Everything is better with bacon. Just don't try and fry it without a shirt on. Or pants.
