Seaonally appropo, I think. Got a tried-and-true cold/flu/winter sickness remedy? Post here.
Mine: Hot soup of nearly any sort as long as there's chicken in there somewhere. I also add tons of garlic, onion & peppers of all sort. Warm a thick blanket in the dryer, start a good old war movie & plop on the couch- all better...
A recently-discovered tip: dip a Q-tip in hydrogen peroxide, shake off the excess & clean your ears as per your usual routine. Kills germs in a perhaps otherwise-somewhat-neglected breeding habitat. seems to help.

Gargling with a mix of Listerine and hydrogen peroxide seems to provide decent sore throat relief for me.

I'm a big fan of zinc lozenges. Whenever I think I'm coming down with a cold, I take some, and then I take more during the cold. I really think they help with the duration and severity.

My wife likes Airborne, but it only seems to slightly upset my otherwise-cast-iron stomache. She also down those little *Emergen-C* high-dosage-of-vitamin C packs. Those don't bother me but I'm not sure they do much good for me either.

Tablespoon tobassco and 1.5 oz tequilla...followed by 8 oz. ice water.

1 shot of Nyquil chased by 2 shots of Wild Turkey. Repeat every time you regain conciousness for 10 days. Cold gone!

I also push the liquids pretty good. (Beer is a liquid)
