My roommate and I had a discussion the other day about meeting girls in college. He insisted that high school was a far better environment to meet girls in, but that he was too shy in high school to talk to girls. He says that now that he's in college he regrets not being more assertive in high school, "because it's harder to meet girls in college".
I disagreed and said that it's actually easier to meet girls in college because of the independent living environment, parties, clubs/social activities, classes, and so forth.
Your thoughts?

Well, it was easier to get into a long term relationship in school, at college it is easier to cut to the good stuff

In the words of my dad's twice-divorced friend, "If I knew then what I know now ..." and then he just starts shaking his head.

I think high school is a little more dependent on your circumstances and who you hang out with. I was in the band (as was my girlfriend), and we were all close, plus the band folks tended to hang out with a lot of people from many different cliques, so I met people that way too.

I'm majoring in mechanical engineering... Of course it was easier to meet more girls in high school! I haven't seen a single girl in one of my college classes. |
