I'm just going to go ahead and put it out there that UF will own all this year.
That is all.
And try to keep the talk in here about the only "real" conference, that is the SEC.

We shall see how it pans out. Tebow should be even better this year, but the D has to improve by leaps and bounds. A good tailback would be nice, too, I get nervous when Harvin has to carry the ball a lot (as opposed to more-specialized running plays and passes, where he's running in space).

chris rainey is going to be harvin's heir and will probably be used a lot as wideout/slot/tail. emmanuel moody is going to be a very good between-the-tackles runner, as will be mon williams. and kestahn moore was a pretty good back whenever he was able to hold on to the ball.
i'm not too sure about the defensive line this year, but i do recall us getting one of the top tackles in the country, so that'll be good.
right now, the expectation is that the winner of the florida-georgia game will go to the national championship, while the loser will have to settle for the sugar bowl. |

Very cocky talk from anyone that has yet to play the schedule all SEC teams play. But you are a Gator fan so, there you go .
Post the schedule (don't forget home or away) and I'll give you a ruling on your silly statement...... |

| | | | Well I doubt it'll be my beloved Huskers this year as the rebuild is underway
under Bo Pelini. I'll be happy if they pull off some upsets in the Big XII this season.
It's too early for me to make any predictions on who'll take it all, but I love
college football and can't wait for the season to get underway. |

The West is a tough call. Auburn has the chance to decide the BCS championship this year. They've got opportunities to play the spoiler in a LOT of potential national championship scenarios, but I don't know that I see them even taking the West.
'Bama's tossed two players in recent weeks, but they weren't really going to be that big a deal this year anyways. Maybe 7-5, but probably another 6-6 year for Nick "Savior", including a loss to Croom and State in Bryan-Denny Stadium. How sweet that will be!
LSU lost a LOT of older players after last season, but they still may have a chance to pull out the West.
This will be a very good season. I just can't wait to see USC and Ohio State get their asses handed to them again. Last year was wonderful, having Ohio State absolutely embarrassed for the 3rd time in 2 years in the two major college sports by SEC teams.

Anyone that overlooks the boys from Baton Rouge this season will end up with a mouthful of broken teeth and an "L" in their won/loss record. They had a lot of seniors last season, but there is a LOT of talent still.
As for the rest of college football...wait...there is no "rest".

Wait, Perrilloux's gone, was he a senior?

truth is though that any week that an SEC vs SEC game takes place anything can happen. THE toughest conference in College Football, no doubt. Its gonna be a good season though.

Miles will field a winner, because the talent pool is as deep or deeper in BRLA as in any other college football camp. You may not know the name, but he'll do the job.
As for Perriloux, Miles did exactly the right thing. That kid was trouble, they tried to get him straight but failed, and that was it - cut him.
Finding someone to run the offense won't be an issue, but having the person running the offense be an idiot on and off the field would have been disaster.
All you big talkin' UF fans better not spend too much time worrying about who LSU will have behind center this season, you'd better worry about the guys from one state north of you! If your offensive line is not MUCH improved, your golden boy will spend a lot of time looking out of his helmet's ear hole this season!
See y'all in Atlanta at the end of November! (the real national championship: SEC Championship game!!! )

Now, if we're talking college football, you better be inclusive of teams that actually step up and include decent competition in their non-conference scheduling.
Flame away, homers!

Flame away, homers! | ...who let this PAC 10 riff-raff in here?
The only reason you guys have decent competition in non-confrence scheduling is because there isn't any decent competition in your IN-CONFRENCE scheduling!
Any SEC team going out of confrenece is by definition stepping DOWN in competition.

... | BWAHAHAHAHA!!!! I hope you're not serious about the joke in Tuscaloosa that they call a football program. It bares closer resemblance to a three-ring circus than a high-caliber football program.
It speaks great volumes about the program to me when Sarah Jessica Parker Wilson's little brother, who is a much better QB, was guaranteed a starting position but turned down a football scholarship to play baseball.
And then there's the case of one of their most highly-coveted recruits of the past few years - the one who sold coke to police officers 7 times, including twice in the parking lot of the football facility and at least once in his apartment which is right across the street from an elementary school.
