Well, I need to apply for a college student loan. Can anyone help with this, what are the best government loans or whatever loans I can get with the bets plans and interest rates? Please help, it would be much appreciated.

They're scary things. I'd try to do it all through federal if you can. Private loans will screw you over...

Definitely not worth going into debt for your undergrad. Some grad school programs are worth it though.

Are you starting college this fall or are you still in HS? I'd recommend going to a school where you don't have to take on loans, if at all possible.

I live in Canada, so it's a bit different, but...

Go with governmental loans if at all possible.

Call the financial aid department at your school & ask to speak to an advisor. They will know a lot more than us.

I used Chase & Sallie Mae for my private loans. I'm going to be repaying them until I am dead. Do not take on massive amounts of private loan debt.

The Financial Aid office at your school will have all the application forms you need. Check into Perkins loans. Some student loan apps can be done online. Check with your school for the list of qualified lenders for Federal Guaranteed Student loans.
