This is a really amazing piece. A 20 year old Duke student was diagnosed with a very rare form of cancer, and is racing to find his own cure through his own research along with one of the top researchers in the field. Really a touching story.

Impressive. At his age, I would have just resigned myself to alcohol.

Best of luck to him. I hope he can discover something before it's too late.

On certain days, my local bar turns into the "Church of Monday Night Football."

If finding the cure doesn't get him an A in class, I don't know what will.
