| The last paragraph of that article is no better than a blog rant. Whilst it seems like a stupid comparison to make given how emotional the issue was, the title of the article is completely misleading. He never said anything like being impregnated during rape was like getting a flat tire, he was clearly making a comparison about the need to be prepared for the possibility of things that are outside of your control occuring. It was a stupid remark, but I would say that the intelligence of the speaker is about on par with that of the author of that article. They're both abysmal at what they do.
