Question computer monitor help

please help me figure out how much this monitor sells new for in the US market. a friend of mine bought it in a closing down sale two years back somewhere in US and brought it here. am buying it used how much do you think i should pay him?
are these monitors reliable? he has been using it for 2years

Used I might go 85 US for it. MAYBE if it didn't have dead pixels.

17 inch LCD's are pretty cheap now and Sylvania isn't known for being the cream of the crop.

Average life of that monitor is 5-6 years, he's used two of them. IMO$60.00US tops if no dead pixels. Comp. new monitor goes for $140.US.
