I am getting so fed up with these mice I'm buying. I'm paying like 40 dollars at best buy every 4-6 months because they **** the bed. What mice do you guys use that work well and are comfortable? and FYI, I play viddy games sometimes.
here is my current one, which i like when it is working, but they break way too easily. |

I use a Logitech MX518. Before that I had a Logitech MX510 (basically just the older model in a different colour). Used the MX510 for years then retired it when I built a new system a couple years back. These are a bit larger than most mice, but I've got fairly large hands, so it isn't a problem for me, and they are certainly a lot more comfortable than regular mice. Plus, end up using the extra buttons all the time too!

My son went through a phase where every time he could get near the mouse he would push it backwards off of the keyboard tray so it fell on the floor. Never had any probs with it.

The buttons above and below the scroll wheel just scroll. Tho, there is logitech software that I've never used fully, so it may be possible to use those too.
I tried wireless mice a few times, just never liked them too much personally.

| | | | They are hard to get anymore but the G5 is by far the best, much more responsive then a razer as they have twice the response rate.
If you want a really really good muse then I'm afraid it has to be wired, simple as that.
And for honest unbiased reviews of hardware, Toms hardware is the last place you should look. It is full of un sensible comparisons and in some cases just flat out wrong info. |

I've been considering one of those, but I'm not sure if it's really worth the hundred bucks. So many buttons though... mmmm.

I absolutely LOVE my Logitech MX Revolution. Very comfortable with assignable buttons and hyper scroll. It's a little more expensive than your average mouse but it's laser, wireless and rechargeable with it's own docking station. Awesome for gaming as well. I have one at home and one at the office.

How much was it by the way, I want to know how much she spent?? |

EDIT: That was around a year ago so they might have come down in price since then.
EDIT #2: Yep! It's now $65 CAN + Tax.
