Computer question-need your help please.

When I try to download from youtube I get an error message telling me that I have Javascript turned off or I need Adobe Flash Player. I have followed the link that tried to download it, but nothing happens. No prompts, no error messages. I have read the FAQ's and adjusted my internet settings-still nothing.

I can download lesser quality videos with no problem. What am I not doing?

May be a permisson issue

This sounds familiar. Are you using Windows and IE (Internet Explorer)? If not disregard my reply.

IIRC, it worked if I was logged on as an administrator, but the Flash Player download was never detected if I was logged on as a user even though it was installed. I remember Adobe's web site was no help. I tried all permission settings I could think of, but never tracked it down. It may be a bug in IE.

Would you be willing to use Firefox instead of IE? I never had the problem with Firefox.

Sorry, I can't help more.

Ben

Been awhile since I've seen that, but seems to me it's caused by the page not being cached correctly. Press F5 to reload it and it should go.
