Phil Mickelson went to Krispy Kream the day after he won the Masters whilst wearing the Green Jacket. I think we all know who's better.

I'm pretty sure someone threw a doughnut at the Pope one time, or maybe it was a bullet. I'm not really sure.

You have Timmies in New Zealand? Krispy Kream has the better doughnuts, as nothing from Timmies is all that good.

Bah, they do the fast, cheap coffee thing better than most, but that doesn't mean that it tastes good. Their food is loaded up with salt and the doughnuts are tiny.

I prefer the locally owned,...only open till 1pm shops over Krispie Kreme or Dunkin,...there are no Timmie's around here but I've seen enough hockey games to know what it is.

Whatever doughnuts have more hydrogenated oils and corn syrup.

But seriously, aren't Tim Horton stores only located in Canada? I've never had them, but I have had poutine, and that's heavenly.

Krispy Kreme is only tolerable if you get'em when they're just out of the oven.

I just had Tim's for the first time last month, and they easily beat KK. But I agree that of the big chains, Dunkin's has the best.

There are a bunch of Tim Horton's in Michigan, New York and Pennsylvania. From what I have sampled in the states, the coffee is different, a lot weaker and that isn't a good thing as it is already weak.

I've never had Tim Hortons, but Krispy Kream are some of the worst donuts I have ever eaten.

I've had TH's wares in Canada and it was great. Blew Dunkin' out of the water. Now that they are all over the states, it's total crap. Mealy donuts that are more like cake, and NON-DAIRY CREAMER!

What kind of (expletive withheld) BS coffee shop serves NON-DAIRY CREAMER?!?!?!?!?!?

I had gotten my "treats" at the drive through. After one taste of that "coffee", I parked my car and asked for my money back.

Shame on you Tim Horton's, SHAME ON YOU!!!

Tim Ho's is better, their donuts don't all rely on Glaze. Everything from KK is covered in their signature glaze, the only one that isn't is the sour cream donut. Even then TH destroys them on flavor and variety.

For purely caffeine based results though, KK does have heavier coffee blends.

if you're not getting doughnuts from a 90 year old guy who owns a local shop, you're doing it wrong, IMO. Krispy Kreme's are way too sweet. I've never had a Tim Horton's, but I think I'll stick to my local guys...
