It's my turn to make dinner tonight. Let's make it interesting ...and easy.
Here's my Elvis approved, internationally known, award winning and Qintar praised Elvis Mac & Cheese (lovingly known to my family and friends as the "Heart attack Mac & Cheese").
Ingredients:
Mac & Cheese (Country Crock side dish or Kraft/Velveeta box if not available).
1 lb. ground meat (the leanest your grocery store has)
General purpose seasoning (I like the Goya brand).
Ground black pepper.
Cheddar/Mozzarella shredded cheese.
Shredded parmesan cheese.
Little bit of olive oil.
About 5 strips of bacon, diced as small as you can.
Preparation:
On a large size non-stick stir fry pan cook bacon until it's well done. Do not add oil or coat pan with anything, let the bacon cook in it's own grease.
When bacon is done, add the ground beef to pan and season with about a tablespoon of seasoning and 1/2 teaspoon of ground black pepper. Add a little bit of olive oil to taste. Use a teflon or similar (non-metal) spoon to dice the meat while it cooks so that it's loose and grainy (not in lumps). You want to let the beef cook well until it's pretty crunchy.
While the beef cooks, prepare mac & cheese per instructions and place it on a pyrex or similar oven safe flat deep dish. Add a sprinkle of black pepper to taste.
Add cheddar/mozzarella to the mac & cheese and mix well.
When beef is well done, add to mac & cheese and mix well.
Top off with your favorite sliced cheese (I like colby jack) and add shredded parmesan to taste.
Place in pre-heated oven at 350 F for about 30-45 mins (until cheese is well melted and it's almost burning into the edges of the dish).
Enjoy.
Optional: Go to gym for 3 hours to burn calories.
Share your Mac & Cheese recipe!

so i tend to make the box stuff, and then while stirring in the cheese, throw in a couple slices of real cheese. thickens it up and makes it much more realistic.
bacon and ground beef? id be a little leary of that idea haha
my mom tends to JUST use real cheese and it takes forever and is hard to get a good consistency, but it is heavenly.

When you raise your intrathoracic pressure quickly, it stimulates the vagus nerve which your body interprets as an instruction to slow down your heart. If your system is fine, you get a quick dizzy feeling and then go right back to normal. If your system is impaired by say: old age, drug use, cardiac defect or disease,...etc. You might not come right back to normal. A LOT of people strain themselves into a vaso-vagal response that slows their heart down too much to come back up and it just quits.
Straining to poop is a classic way to accidentally do that.
I've probably worked twelve or fifteen heart attacks that happened on the toilet.
