We do make those slides though here, with a small ramp over a lake...and according to the amount of soapy water, sometimes fat guy's don't quite make it to the ramp.
Ours are yellow Mine Vent Tubing as well....lot's of guys here steal it from "Mama" Vale/INCO

Perhaps if you could do a mess of "dry" runs with humanoids you might like to risk your life on the real deal but you'd have to do you very best humanoid impersonation to exit the ramp at the same speed as the dummy. Get it wrong and you'd miss by plenty.

Then I thought, nah, the landing would probably kill you. But if you could set up something like this that would launch you out into a lake, that would be cool. |

Or maybe they just used math to calculate mass x weight x distance x velocity x air density x speed / chicken nuggets.
nah it's fake

I'd say that getting that much acceleration travelling on a soapy wet tube on an incline, makes it pretty impossible...
My guess would be, on the real footage, the rider does not even make it to the top of the ramp, let alone fly off it through the air.

They hit the target too, only theirs was in a lake.
