Most definately the infamous hallway shootout in John Woo's "Hard Boiled". It's only two takes, and it goes on forever. Seemless. Absolutely amazing action scene.

I think the D-Day landing in Saving Private Ryan was a great action scene and to me seemed like a bit of turning point for how battles are portrayed on screen.

In Shoot Em Up when Clive Owen bangs his prostitute girlfriend, about 50 gunmen show up. While continuing to "have relations" he kills everyone of them. After shooting the last gunmen in the face he says "Talk about blowing your load.". Amazing....

That's house of the dead. I haven't seen the movie but this action scene is just too funny. Notice the unnecessary slow motion. The guns also change from pistols to shotguns(vice versa) whenever there's a closeup.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bl03m53RlX8 From the infamous "Braindead" contains a fair amount of blood...

And: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ShPMhpCJxpw no way to describe that one... "You have seen the skill of a true ninja"

Is it bad that I admitted that I was laughing the whole time during that scene?

Now excuse me while I go to Wikipedia to look up the plot of the movie.

Edit: Holy crap! This movie is even more ridiculous than I thought!

+1 for the street battle in Heat. The sound is amazing.

The "Yo Homie is that my briefcase" scene from Collateral is also great. Nice, smooth, draw

Aliens, M-16's on Fifth and Flower in Heat, the Ronin Ambush, and the D-Day beach landing are all good.

anytime the GE mini-Gun is in film I'm down.
Would this be the winner of most lead used in one scene?
