Which Corporations Are the Most Despised Today?

Sign in to disble this ad
With apologies to any TB contributors who may be employees and/or shareholders of said companies, but:

Am interested to know peoples' opinions on which corporations have real problems on their hands with public relations? My leading candidates:

1) Goldman Sachs

2) BP

3) Bank of America

The Federal Reserve, while not technically a corporation, would have to receive [Dis]Honorable Mention in my book as well.

Thoughts and other candidates?

My brother worked for WalMart for a little while, he had it pretty good there, for a minimum wage paying job. He was offered health, vision & dental benefits. The only reason he left was so he could work more hours at another job.

It may have more to do with requirements in your locality. I grew up 15 minutes away from their national headquarters, and had a bunch of friends who worked there.

I had a friend who had cancer who worked in the pharmacy. They then decided that a manager had to approve sick time, and a doctor's not wasn't enough, it was all at manager's discretion.

Also, Wal-Mart is currently under a class action lawsuit for their treatment of women in the workplace.

Is that based on any particular instances, or an objection to GM technology in general? Just curious.
