Wow!! My private health insurance just jumped up over another $100 a month!

Up from $585 to $715/mo! Even with a 5K deductible!

At least this heart attack will be covered! :rant rant:

Wow. And I wonder why the economy is going downhill. All the money's being pumped into health insurance...

I can't wait to take this Economics of Healthcare class next semester.

Canada's #1 export IS indeed Honesty. Well played. I guess I'll have to stop referring to Canada as 'America Jr.'

Per month!?!?!?!?!

Thankfully the Owner of the company I work for (www.flomore.com) pays for our health care, no matter how many kids (or wives, though that would take some convincing).

I remember when I worked at a Vocational Technical School here in Norman, OK that despite me having full coverage (dental/vision/health) for myself, it would've been another $750 for my wife.

I bet the G5 Jet that the Healthcare CEO's ride in is pretty sweet though......

$715... a month??!! Good grief, that's preposterous. No wonder there's so many folks over there who can't afford cover. I never realised you guys had to pay out that much.

You know what's more of a pisser. When you have to use it and you still get bills, because this or that wasn't covered in your pitiful over priced policy.

I had to go for a full body scan because of a minor cancer. Because it the scan wasn't covered under that particular type of cancer I had to shell out 1k out of my own pocket. This is blue cross blue shield.

If you are not under a group plan and have to pay for it yourself you get hammered. Check some online quotes.

That was the only good thing about my last job. Great coverage for me and my wife 80 buck a month as opposed to 700 a month for the two of us.
