That's the thing, she has an addiction that has caused a lot of problems for herself and others. Like any addiction, once it gets to that point it has to be kicked or it will continue to build and will only get worse. Sucks being her, but she has to go cold turkey.

I havent seen Magnolia, but Ive been meaning to check it out for years.
The Cooler is good. William H Macy plays a guy with extremely poor luck. So poor, that it rubs off on others. He is employed at a casino, where his job is to mess up peoples winning streaks.

To me, the issue with her not being allowed pornography is that pron is certainly not the only trigger to her addiction.
Intercourse (with a legal adult, which she is allowed) would be a much worse trigger.
If having sex is okay, then I dont really see the harm in possessing legal pornography.

Possibly, but porn is easier to access than an actual person. It's easier for her to maintain her habit that way. In my opinion, if she wants to conquer her habit she should go completely abstinent for awhile, real or porn.

Porn is easier to access, but one can get off without it, and from what I hear its easier for women to do so.
Id agree that going abstinent would be the best route should she want to "cure her addiction" but does she really have an addiction? I dont think thats for us to determine, she may or may not.
Remember, she initially got in trouble for having sex with underage boys, that doesnt necessarily mean she has an addiction.

She doesn't seem to be able to control her impulses. I would think that could possibly qualify as fitting the description of addiction. Getting out of jail and buying more porn would seem to be a possible indicator as well. There's no way for you or I to really know, but at some point I'd think she might come to the realization that she may need to take a break.

I mean controlling her impulses when it comes to whom she chooses for a partner. She seems to do a really bad job of it. So much so that she got caught and was prosecuted. At some point those type of results might make a person sit down and reasses their choice making capablites and what might need to be addressed and changed, that's all I'm sayin. What she's doing now ain't workin out so good for her.

Kinda reminds me of a story that came out last fall... some NFL cheerleader (who is also a schoolteacher) having sex with a 16-year old guy who was one of her students.

Of course we all know that is all kinds of "wrong"... but I'm also thinking... from that kid's perspective... JACKPOT! I mean, you've got your teacher AND she's an NFL CHEERLEADER besides? Are you SERIOUS?!? You're the king of the world if you're a 16-year-old boy getting that action.

She was prosecuted in 2010 for the underage sex. As far as we know, shes not chasing underage boys any longer.
All we know as far as what shes doing now is possessing pornography. All Im saying is that I find it wrong that the court ordered she cannot possess some prawn. Whats a woman to do?

She got herself in hot water. If I was her I'd just go along to get along at this point. If they want to ban her from ever seeing legal porn again for the rest of her life then that would be pretty ridiculous and unenforceable at some point, I would think.
