I can't remember if I saw this here at TB but it puts the other two covers squarely in bronze and silver territory in the musical craplympics.

As if making a completely garbage version of a rock classic weren't bad enough (complete with a keyboard version of the bass solo), but here's a manufactured Disney star coopting a song of teenage rebellion. The topper is the lyric change, completely destroying original point of the song.

Hillary Duff - My Generation

Watch at your own risk.

God lord... thats not right at all. Her voice is so dull and boring, your supposed to belt out My Generation and sound like you just smoked a carton and washed it down with a jug of vinegar... No, that isnt right at all...

You, sir, are absolutely right. I think that may be the very worst thing I have ever heard in my life.

I always wanted to cover Beat It, but I wanted to do it right.......Now I can't.....

I might add this is the first I heard of it, because I've been living under a rock called South Korea for the last two years.

So we had AAF do Smooth Criminal, now FOB doing Beat It, who will be the next band to cover The King Of Pop?

It's sad that most kids probably won't know this is a cover.

alot of jonas brothers fans are justifying ts by saying they had a rule never to cover bands like the beatles, and that they only did it because target asked them to.

just sorta lowers my opinion of them to a new low..

1sp post ever btw, yay.
