While watching Dateline NBC this question struck me. If you knew that the previous residents were murdered, could you live in that house?
I honestly don't think I could or would want to.

I knew a friend of a friend that killed an intruder in his parent's house with a crossbow (no charges filed), and they being morbid tiled a custom body outline into the flooring as a reminder. In the hills of Virginia that's called a joke, and deterrent to the next guy. You don't break into a hunter's house, uh, ever. |
