Craigslist Alternatives?

After yet another CL Musicians poo storm popping up in the 808 state, I've begun to realize that it's nothing more than a POS as far as just about anything is concerned outside local buying and selling.

My question is, are there any reasonable alternatives as far as area-based musician classified are concerned?

It all depends on what you're looking for I guess. CL always has a grip of crap to wade through, but I've found worthwhile things there on rare occasions.

Other than Craigslist, I think you're stuck with networking locally. IMO, there's nothing else on the internetz worth anything as far as musician networking goes.
