It's here in the Pets section and in R&R. The Musicians section is full of bickering and people complaining why the "Spokane Scene Sucks". Actually I find our scene to be diverse and fun if a little elitist at times. Usually the ones whining are has beens, Poorly executed hair metal and people who just aren't any good but I digress.

While certain CL "police" are a bit too zealous, it seems to me like the scammers, spammers, rule-breakers, crap-talkers, and overpricing idiots are far, far more numerous and persistent. IOW I could get annoyed by like the one guy who flags or comments on posts in excess, or I could look at how he is outnumbered 100 to 1 by the people whose posts really need policing.

A few days ago a guitarist posted an ad (KC) for himself in Spanish.
A couple of the responses were predictable, given the current political climate. Thankfully they were quickly removed.

I try to go through and flag repeats and scammers, per day when i check in. I dont have time to sit there for hours...

I'm really sick of these "holy trade .com" scam adds from china. Craigslist needs to hire some google engineers to get rid of these things... they are so annoying.

Also the soccer mom ads trying to sell their 150 dollar drum set before christmas. They post like 20 times a day. ugh.

Yeah I see countless ppl here in houston put up a FSR pbass (natural ash version) and a cheap amp (of any brand) up for $500. I wouldn't pay $300 for one of those FSRs

Kc craigslist especially in musicians and musical instruments seems to be filled to the brim with crybabies and psychopaths. People who have more than a few items for sale get flagged as commercial users by nutjobs who think that making a scene and calling themselves "spampolice" are helping the global economy in their own way.

Funny how this discussion is limited to the musicians & instruments sections...you all know you check the "casual encounters" section, as well!

On the subject of CL police and scams. I try and weed out scams and BS'ers. I hate the people that list Squiers as Fenders and EPI's as Gibsons. There is a new one that keeps popping up here in the MSP CL and was wondering if this scam is being tried elsewhere. Check this out!!! http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/hn...520444848.html
'56 P bass for $2700.00??? I almost choked!! I fired off a e mail so fast only to learn it is a scam.
