Dog People are saying the dog is really having seizures and not sleep walking/running. These people are ones with dogs that have been diagnosed with their own dogs with seizures. They said their dogs do similar things and their dogs are on meds for it.

If the dog is asleep and having a sleep-walker moment its kinda fun.

But if he's sick and having seizures and those people are posting on the internet for fun, give me a baseball bat and I'll show you the fun.

Agree, and I suspect that isn't the first time that poor dog has hurt himself or they wouldn't have known to tape him.

I love this TB "either black or white" attitude, up until i posted that video and BD posted i didnt know that dogs could have seizures while they sleep, considering most average ppl arent vets, it is very probable that whoever taped it didnt know either.

If you are writing this to pick on us,give me a truck and I'll show you picking up.

If not,it was ok.

We know you wouldn't post a seizuring dog to have fun man, relax.

Hm. I thought it was very funny sleepwalking, so I forwarded it to some of my dog-owning friends who enjoy a laugh. If it's generally known that the dog was instead having a tragic seizure then I'll look like a total ass. Great.

Really? My dog sleepwalks and runs all the time. It looks to me like this dog is sleepwalking.

Looks like sleepwalking to me too. I'm not veternarian, but would crashing into the wall make the seizure stop?

I wouldn't think so, looks like the dog was sleeping.

There's a few different videos of this dog and the same type of behavior on youtube.

I used to have a Basenji with epilepsy. He also used to chase things in his sleep. When he had a seizure, it looked like a seizure.

Hi.

My current lady friend has a terrier with epilepsy and when he's having a seizure, it looks quite a lot like a human seizure does. I'm no vet, but I doubt that a dog of that size could stand up right after having a seizure of any kind.

I'd say that the dog in the clip is just sleepwalking/sleepchasing. My ex GF's two miniature Schnauzers did that all the time, didn't usually stand up though. Sometimes they barked too .

Regards
Sam
