I'm a long time Raiders fan and have been to many games in both San Diego and Oakland. We partied pretty calm wherever we went and got harassed every year in SD except for 1.

I will agree though, Oakland is probably worse.

I have to add Snyder's of Berlin to that list of great potato chips. They are not affiliated with Snyder's of Hanover (who happens to make some great pretzels).

wide range of people here. Nice to live close to SF, Tahoe and the coast. Waiting for "The Big One" so I can have beach front property.

and yes, big quakes feel different depending on where you are and we all sleep with scuba gear under the bed just in case.

waiting for high speed train that won't be because it will stop every 20 miles just like Am-Trac

I did enjoy my time in Laramie WY however

Ditto for Michigan, Detroit is nothing like the rest of the state. Like a lot of large US cities who have their former mayor on trial in Federal court and the City finances about to be taken over by the State. No, wait, that's probably just Detroit.

Plus, according to many New York City-based movies I've seen, an entire studio flat is easily affordable by someone with a low-to-medium salaried job. lol

False. If you don't like spicy/tex-mex you're not a real Texan.
Depends on how you define long. I don't hear any accent but everyone from out of state says it's really thick.

Best thing to ever come out of Oklahoma? I-35 south.

If you feel like you're in hell, don't worry, Oklahoma has to end at some point.

Feel the same way about Pine Bluffs, WY. It's my favorite town in Wyoming because it's the last thing you see in the rear view mirror.
