You are all retired folks from the north east or redneck transplants from the bible belt or retired rednecks from the south....except for Miami in which case you are Cuban or Mexican.

You all like to fish.

We all hate tourist season.
We do have hurricane parties.
We don't like the snow birds except that they spend a lot of money here.
We all know at least a few words of Spanish, at least enough to order a Cuban Sandwich and a Cafe con Leche.
We really don't go to Disney world all that often.
We really do pull out our heavy coats when the thermostat hits the 60s.
We do all have pretty decent tans.
We do know that parking isn't about how far away you are from the store, it's about whether you're under a tree or not.

Florida.
I don't get the tourist hate as that's a huge part of the local economy. However, I have to say I've spent a fair amount of time in the Tampa Bay area and never experienced it personally. Generally friendly folk as far as I can tell. And Jai Alai IPA is something special!

We're not bumbling idiots as we're typically portrayed. Most of us, anyway.

We're not all fishermen and we don't live in igloos.

We're not all on welfare and/or too lazy to work.

We do talk funny.

Louisiana.

Not all of us wear bib overalls and rubber boots.

We don't all live in the swamps, use pirogues to go to town, and listen to Zydeco.

Not all of us are Cajun.

We do have the best politicians money can buy.

Not all of us are die-hard LSU fans.

In California, despite the appearance of our state flag, we're not being overrun by bears.*

*with the exception of some districts in metro areas

Here's a few of mine (California):

Most of us don't surf

We're not all city folk, lot's of redneck farmers here (we supply 1/3 of US agriculture products).

We're not all Liberal (We've elected several Republican govs, squashed gay marriage and didn't legalize marijuana)

Although, I surf, I'm liberal and live in a city

Now whatchoo got????
If it weren't for San Diego, L.A. and San Francisco (or "Frisco," as its natives call it), California would be the biggest hick state in the union.

I don't know if this was a joke or not....

But the guys in San Fran have demonstratively stated that only out-of-towners call it "Frisco"

Only non natives call it Frisco, locals hate it when you say that. we just call it "the city" or "SF" or possibly "san fran" though that last one is teetering on the edge...
