CSI..Gary Sinise

Anybody notice Gary Sinise playing Bass at the end of last weeks show. He was on stage in some kinda alternative act. Looked like Fender custom shop J, lord knows he can afford it. I dont watch CSI much so it may be a common thing on the show.. I think it ends with a live performance or something regularly..

It's happened a couple of times.

Sinise actually plays bass in a band in real life. I think they're called the Lieutenant Dan Band, after his character in Forrest Gump.

That's correct. He's a Chicago guy, the band plays here sometimes. He's also one of the founders of Steppenwolf theater. An excellent actor, and he seems like an all-around cool dude.

Gary does the Lt Dan Band all the time for charity events, and he is a rock solid player. Not just some Keanu "Bass-Holder", I would put him more on the Wayman Tisdale side of multi-sport athletes.

Right, I should have mentioned that every time I've seen a flyer or an ad for the band, it's a charity event.
