Custom Chevy HotRod ... pics!

Sign in to disble this ad
This little Chevy is just too cool! 1957, 1958 & 1959 all rolled into one! This car was built by N2A Motors (No Two Alike). The Cost - $40,000 plus the $44,000 (MSRP) cost of new Corvette C6. The company is planning a production run of about 100 vehicles. It sits on a Corvette C6 chassis, has a front styled like a 57 Chevy, the sides like a 58, and a rear end like a 59 - hence the designation "789". You pay for the Vette; they do the modifications for a price.

ironically, the result appears more thunderbirdish than resembling any of the chevy models

I like it just fine, but respect the craftsmanship much more than the end result... for me, I'd rather that kind of effort be put into something truly different... that said, it is cool. I'd love to drive it.

I believe I know what they're trying to pull off, but it's just not happening. The lines are all off and not working together. The whole thing just doesn't flow right.

57? Oh yes
58? Maybe
59? I'd take one if you gave it to me, only to flip it
All 3 rolled into one? Not right

I like it. I really like it. I grew up in that era, and was really into cars. What's the body made of?

If it was one solid color Red, Black, White, it might flow better....

I thought the same thing. You can draw inspiration from more than one car but certainly you don't have to draw attention to that fact.

the front wheel well radius is just not doin it fr me. actually from the front to the beginnin of the door looses me. the choice of wheels dont help at all. i do like the rear shot. im a sucker for 59 wings. can someone photo shop the front fender blue up to the trim piece? that lower black piece looks outta place.

I think that's pretty slick and well executed.

I'd much prefer to have the keep the vette and throw the extra 40 large into go faster goodies than spending that money on exterior mods that decrease the performance.
